It was in Leipzig, Germany, that in the year 1971 (January 14) that this well renowned fashion designer was born. Berlin is the headquarters for his famous fashion house, where he also lives. His fashion designing work has been thriving since the year 1991.
It was in Switzerland, that he gained his education in fashion designing and later on in Rome, Italy along with Ernesto Aligieri that he began his masterworks in fashion apparel designing. For his extensive work in the fashion designing industry, in the year 2000, Torsten Amft was awarded the ‘Lexton’ fashion award in the city of New York. He has gained a lot of popularity amongst celebrities. They love not only his personal style but clothing as well. Africa was the theme used in his trend show in the Spring/Summer of 2008 where the issue of natural resources was seriously dealt with. Torsten Amft was also a part of the ‘Global Fashion Festival’ a fashion event held in open air in Europe. His work stands out for the messages sent off the ramp and the full functionality of all clothes designed and exhibited.
